All items below must be submitted by

April 1, 2008 in order to be considered for the upcoming Fellows program.

1. Apply online at www.vhfp.org.

To complete your electronic application, you will be asked to submit essays on the following:

• Why you want to be a Visionary Heritage Fellow

• Who is the Local Visionary you have chosen, and why have you selected to profile this elder? (In your response, please provide brief details about the individual’s achievements in the local community.)

2. Visionary Participation Form (available at www.vhfp.org)

3. A copy of a recent school transcript (Please mail to NVLP.)

4. Two letters of recommendation (from a faculty member and a member of your community—not a relative—who can provide insight into your leadership qualities) (Please mail to NVLP.)

October 26, 2008	Interviews must be completed

March 9, 2009	Announcement of scholarship winners
