Deadline for NVLP to Receive Videotapes and Audio Recorders:

• Fellows meet with Faculty Advisors; review interview tapes and prepare mailing
• Send videotapes and audio recorders to NVLP via FedEx using number provided by NVLP
• Fellows who send materials after this date will not be eligible for the scholarship contest
• Students are responsible for ensuring that their materials are sent to NVLP by the deadline

October 28, 2008

Begin Final Project Completion:

• Faculty Advisors fax Midterm Evaluations to NVLP
• NVLP sends to Fellows:
• Email with interview transcript
• VHS of interview via mail
• Fellows begin writing biographies, bibliography and research paper

November 7, 2008

Continue Towards Final Project Completion:

• Fellows meet with Advisor; discuss any research challenges
• Advisors review students' bibliographies; provide feedback and suggestions as needed
• Fellows conduct additional research if necessary and continue writing

November 17, 2008

Fellows continue working on their projects

• Review and print out 10 clips selected for NVLP website
• Download and print out photos, write photo log
• Complete biographies, research paper and bibliography

November 24, 2008

Continue Towards Final Project Completion

• Fellows meet with Faculty Advisors
• Review all documents for completion
• Check to insure all “Final Project” items are included

December 1, 2008

ONE WEEK BEFORE DEADLINE:

• Fellows and Faculty Advisors meet to review all project materials

• Prepare submission to NVLP

December 8, 2008

FINAL PROJECT DEADLINE:

• Final Projects must be postmarked before midnight December 15, 2008
• Fellows send final projects to NVLP via FedEx number provided
• Faculty Advisors send all equipment to NVLP via FedEx number provided
