NVLP 2004 Class of VHFP Fellows
Twenty-three students from partnering institutions were chosen to participate in the Visionary Heritage Fellowship Program. As part of the application process, each Fellow selected a Local Visionary whom they will research and interview during the course of the program.
As with past years, this year’s Fellows have selected exceptional Local Visionaries, all of who have made significant contributions to their individual community and to the larger African American community through their accomplishments. They include civil rights activists, members of faith communities, teachers, performers, and leaders in business and industry.
